In 1940, our founder, Shigeru Nishimi, established the "Bellows Research Institute" in Saginomiya, Nakano-ku, Tokyo, marking the beginning of Saginomiya's history. In 1948, SAGINOMIYA SEISAKUSHO, INC. was founded and commenced the full-scale development and production of automatic controls.
Shigeru Nishimi, who transitioned from educator to businessperson, advocated that "the most valuable treasures of a company are its employees working there", and built a company culture that nurtures and treasures its people.
Since its founding, the company has consistently upheld its corporate philosophy of “Creation of Happiness for All Employees and All People,” along with our business motto: “When alone, care for yourself. When with others, care for others. Always act for somebody else.”

Our company began with products utilizing Bellows Technology and has since grown into a leading manufacturer of Automatic Controls. Today, we further expand our presence across a wide range of fields, including freezing, refrigeration, air conditioning, hot water supply and heating, power plants, automobiles, trains, ships, medical equipment, semiconductors, and various other industrial sectors.
In our test systems business, launched in 1964, the driving simulator DiM—indispensable for model-based automotive development—has earned widespread recognition both in Japan and internationally.
We are also engaged in research and development of MEMS technology to support the IoT network society and create new value.

Guided by our basic policy of “Offering Environmentally Friendly Products and Contributing to Global Society,” we strive to realize “Safety, Security, and Comfort in your lives,” “Environmental Conservation,” and a “Sustainable Society” through products and technologies that respond to evolving needs.
We are also committed to social contribution activities, including human resource development support and community engagement, in addition to compliance, risk management, and environmental initiatives.
One Step Forward: Striving for Further Growth
In 2025, we proudly celebrated the 85th anniversary of our founding. This remarkable milestone was made possible through the unwavering support and patronage of our valued customers and suppliers, for which we extend our deepest gratitude. Looking ahead to our next milestone, we are diligently preparing for our 90th anniversary and have developed the medium-term management plan, Progress90, which embraces the slogan "One Step Forward".
We are dedicated to strengthening our efforts and taking proactive action—“Accelerate” faster, “Expand” further, and “Explore” deeper, both as a company and as individuals.
