Sumatra-Andaman earthquake which was occurred on 26th December, 2004 has been trigger for activating research on security assurance of high-rise, large scale and complicated structures in Asian countries.In response to the demand, SAGINOMIYA has supplied two sized 4mﾗ4m & 2mﾗ2m paralleled 6DOF simulation tables which enable synchronous simulation with its latest simulation software “RFC Evo” to Structural Engineering Research Centre in India

Purpose

• Evaluation of seismic response of model structures and structural assemblages through cyclic and seismic wave tests.
  Development of innovative seismic retrofitting, development of guidelines and provisions for planning, designing and constructions of innovative earthquake resistant housing schemes, and enhanced seismic protection of building and structures.
  Development of efficient and economical isolation devices for seismic protection buildings.
